Sunday Blessings

On a hill faraway

Stood an old rugged cross

The emblem of suffering and shame

And I love that old cross

Where the Dearest and Best

For a world of lost sinners was slain

So...I'll cherish that old rugged cross

Till my trophies at last I lay down

I will cling to that old rugged cross

And exchange it someday for a crown

It is a tad gray and gloomy here on this 2nd day of Spring.

But my sweet hubs is out raking and doing some light winter clean up. The raked areas smell sooo wonderful...

earthy. damp. promising.  

The snow is melting  off the new simple potager and I pray I will soon be lifting handfuls of that garden soil 

to my face and breathing deep of that same wonderful smell...

Copycat

Okay...I'm a copycat...at least when it comes to decorating our

wee little homestead cottage~

I do have some original ideas...but when I see an idea

I can copy that is a nice fresh change

using what I have on hand..well...I'm just gonna copy it.

I find lots of inspiration from favorite mags

but...honestly...the many lovely blogs I follow

have  such wonderful inspiration...

(yes...it's almost an addiction)

Not just decorating..mind you

I've made some wonderful new kindred friends

 But...I digress ;o)

Seeking Direction

Been seeking some direction lately...where to go from here.

Wanting to move forward...stay on the right road.

Sometimes the directions aren't as clear as I would like.

This kinda sums it up.

Good thing I have built in GPS.

God's Plan System.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Jeremiah 29:11
