Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

Sunday Blessings

On a hill faraway
Stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suffering and shame
And I love that old cross
Where the Dearest and Best
For a world of lost sinners was slain
So...I'll cherish that old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to that old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown

  1. Love this hymn! It was my Granny's favorite. When I was little I would spend the night with her and we would lay in her big bed and sing this song!!
