A Favor

This is what the weather has been like for days......
                                        Foggy
                                        Gray
                                        Damp
                                        Cold


My mind and heart aren't far behind.......


I can't think...my mind is in a fog
I can hardly pray....my heart is feeling cold and gray
My eyes are damp with tears that threaten to fall


My heart is aching for loved ones who are hurting
For relationships that are broken
For those who are suffering from pain and sickness
And I can do nothing about any of it
I can't fix it


I know Who can
I know He will
I know the fog will lift
The sun will shine again
And its warmth will spread through me


But until then....I ask a favor
Will you pray?
For me..my hubby... our family...our life here?


I would always return the favor ~

Surviving

The past few weeks have certainly had some challenges.


Last week was less than pleasant.

I'm Bad

That got your attention right! You wanna know what I did..don't ya?  Well....I broke my vow of not buying anything new unless I was spending Christmas or Birthday $$ for a year as we are well on our way to being debt free this coming July. 


And....I'm supposed to be putting the Christmas decor away soon....


But ...I was at our local little drug store...and this cute little thing was on the 50% off table.... *sigh*  I'm bad.

The 11th Day of Christmas

On the 11th day of CHRISTmas a sweet friend sent to me....

A vintage embroidered *tea* linen set

Okay..it's really a Bridge set..but I think *tea* fits this darling set better!

It is in pristine condition (see the label?),from the 50's...

just like me! ;o)

Can't wait to have a little tea party
